Nope! I was told because it’s fresh water gators would not be present. And they weren’t 👍

Thanks for the question - we typically dont see any where we paddle just because the waterway is not super deep and the gators typically dont like trying to catch their food in the clear waters so they go the opposite way of where we paddle and they typically hang out downstream rather than where we adventure to! We've never once had a bad incident with a gator :)

We asked the tour guide this same question. There are no alligators where you kayak because the water isn't deep enough in most places. You may see some other wildlife or some small fish.

My tour guide Megan answered this! She said there typically aren’t, since alligators prefer dark and murky waters for hunting and these waters are clear.
