The place is wonderful, BUT you have to keep in mind, there are only 30 daily passes for 30 cars, and there is a line at 7 am. If you arrive after 7 am they will not find access passes, after that it is IMPOSSIBLE to enter. So if you want to get in, you have to get up early, you can come and go when you have the passes.

Yes, it's Florida! Alligators are in pretty much every interior body of water. Luckily, Kelly Park is so busy with so many people that the gators stay away. Nothing to worry about as long as you don't bug them...they won't bug you

For 2 people or less it is $4 dollars to get in the park. 3 people or more is $5 dollars...if you're asking about the tubes, they are $7 per tube for the whole day. They hang onto your ID until you return them. If you want to get in here. Be there no later than 6:30 in the morning. The line of cars fills up insanely fast. It's at this time that a Sheriff goes down the line and gives you a ticket that guarantees your entry into the park. Once you have that ticket, don't worry about people cutting in front of you in line, they won't get in. Hope the info helps.

Kings landing further down the road has kayak and canoe rentals available, to get on the water.
