Yes I am sure they are acceptable. The Rangers are are very friendly and helpful If you want quiet and seclusion this is the place to be. If you fish, boat or kayak this is the place for you. Just be prepared for a lot of sand and very spotty cell service if you need that. Good water and electric and convenient dump facility.
I rode my bike around and there were lots of trails. Never saw anything saying no golf carts, I’m sure if you were respectful it would be no issue.
I seen golf carts being used there.
