Staff was very friendly. Campsites are large and close to the bathrooms. I'm definitely coming back! Very clean bathrooms.

Had a great time.site clean, staff friendly. Must protect yourself from TICKS as we found plenty. The cannoe ramp and rental is new, its is designed for easy launch perfect for handcap and those who want to stay dry getting from the boat.

Nice quiet place to stay, great weekend getaway. Wasn't crowded even with an almost full campground. Rangers were pleasant and very informative. Several trails to hike on. Nice boat ramp and kayak launch. There are a couple of pavilions for gatherings. Restrooms/ showers were always clean and stocked. The scenery is pretty. Going back in a couple months.

Ranger told me it's saltwater here. I think Florida fishing in saltwater from bank or pier is included with freshwater license. Double check at Walmart. ✌
To camp? It’s $18 per day in rent. A little more for campers/RV as they add a fee for electric, etc. To enter the park and visit? $5/day.
Yes I am sure they are acceptable. The Rangers are are very friendly and helpful If you want quiet and seclusion this is the place to be. If you fish, boat or kayak this is the place for you. Just be prepared for a lot of sand and very spotty cell service if you need that. Good water and electric and convenient dump facility.
If you want to camp in a spot- sure. Ive seen campers, small RVs, vans, tents, etc.
I believe there are. They have a campground along the water
No, you can tent camp or if you have a travel trailer or RV, the sites offer water and electric. There's a dump station in the park. It's a beautiful park off the beaten path with great trails, access to water and some of nature's creatures for viewing.
Yes. $5 an hour or $25 for the day. Turn in is early, I believe 4:30.
At the boat ramp it is brackish, if you you go west it becomes fresh, if you go east, it becomes salty
Yes any where in florida thats freshwater you do its about 18 dollars for fl resident..and if fishing from shore in salt water you need that licence as well but its free for florida residence
Not unless you like swimming with the Alligators
You can see schedule online and book your camp
Hiram Faver donated the land to the state so that all families could enjoy"old Florida" as it once was. I believe he married into the Faver family. There is a book available about their lives.
Yes they do. Come well prepared. Shopping for food is a twenty minute drive. They do sell ice. Bring bug repellant. There are ticks. We love this park
I was there in July 6 -11 and there was not.
You might want to contact them, we stayed there last year and it's way back on a dirt road that floods.
