Seen people take kayaks out to the kelp beds and dive
They got some rip tides out there. They dive for abalone around Point Conception nearby.
Always check the tides/currents.
I haven't seen anyone scuba there, but I'm sure you could if you pick the right days.
The undertow and waves can be quite strong around the point. So be careful
Go to Morro Bay Morro Bay is the best place around here for scuba diving. Port San Luis Bay is good too but more bass better.
Once you go in the beach there is a sign about rip tides....not recommended
