Admission is not free. Adults are $8 kids over 4 years are $4 the planetarium shows are extra. They have free days occasionally and if you go for a birthday the birthday thrower paid for everybody to come in.

We didn't have to pay, as we were there for a birthday party, but I'm not sure about general admission. I'd call them directly.
