Fantastic, Interesting- Large Dinosaur and animal exhibits, added with a very large and diverse history of Nebraska natural wonders. Very big museum 4 floors. If your history you'll be impressed.

10.19 for an adult and 5.90 for a child after tax. Discounts available for military, seniors, and those with EBT, SNAP, or WIC.
Do you have to buy tickets online or can I buy them there
Brian, thank you for your question. The Indricothere statue that you're remembering that used to exist in our Elephant Hall is no longer on display. However, we do have a huge Bison latifrons on the 4th floor that we recommend if you're looking for a new large creature favorite to check out while you're here.
Yes you can, through their website.
Yes they have a handicap accessible entrance on the east side of the building and an elevator to access all the floors.
Just to sit probably not. They do have shows frequently. Listed on their website.
It entirely depends on age, veteran status, and membership status. Here's a link to their website, where it contains a detailed list of all the factors: https://museum.unl.edu/visit/admissions-hours.html
Check the website or call them!
They have a website online, or of course when you visit!
Yes. The Museum will be open on Friday. They also have a Black Friday deal that day: $5 adult admission, buy one adult get one youth free, and 10% off the entire gift shop.
There are many nearby hotels. The more expensive ones are within a mile, cheaper ones within 5 miles
It's not free I just paid when i went.
Yes, there is. The entrance fee is very inexpensive ($8 adults, $4 children). The planetarium is an extra fee. However, the museum alone has a lot too see, so we didn't even bother with the planetarium. See link for posted posted fees and visitors info: http://museum.unl.edu/museum_info/index.html
Admission is not free. Adults are $8 kids over 4 years are $4 the planetarium shows are extra. They have free days occasionally and if you go for a birthday the birthday thrower paid for everybody to come in.
Try the 14th and Avery parking garage just north of the museum and rec center.
Parking is free. The parking lot is across the street in front of Morrill Hall
Yes they have seating inside. I don't think they transportation from car to door though.
I thought it was a couple bucks , and free if you get there 1/2 hour before closing.
Sadly, I do not remember any popcorn during our trip there.
