At 604 w 178 st new york 10033, is a cat abandoned in the basement, is crying for 2 or 3 day, I call the police, aspca and nobody have time for this little, I can see the cat, but I dont know how can I help him. Please help

I would definitely recommend calling 311. I have called 3-1-1 myself on several occasions, once for a loose raccoon and they followed up each time and every time

You get cat food and a leash collar to get the cat,use heavy gloves to protect hands, and go to vet office to help cat,I saw other answer of firemen, it not easy to go down to basement, is easy to get cat food , a blanket to get cat, even a lil cage with cat food to trap cat, many ways to get cat,praying that you get cat to vet office, cause a basement may have germs on cat body, praying cat is healthy
