Try to find a no kill shelter... I live in Houston, Texas and I went to mACC to adopt a 95lbs Doberman Shepherd who may not have found a home and gotten the needle. Hope you can find a way to hold on to your pet, but you can ask other rescues for advice on help on facebook in the area.

You can go to the Animal care center or This animal shelter called Bideawee it's located at 410 E 38th St New York NY or just call bideawee honestly I like bideawee way more than Animal care center
