... if I'm not mistaken, it's also a kill shelter and will euthanize healthy and adoptable animals when their facility is overpopulated. If possible, I'd recommend a quick internet search for an animal rescue instead. Unlike most shelters, rescues will more often not euthanize *any* animal, unless the animal is unhealthy and unable to be treated/healed.
This is a great place for that ... They are open all the time almost and it's a quick and easy process to drop off a stray. You can tell the staff cares!
