I was adopted and believe I need to obtain a copy of my birth certificate through Sacramento, is that correct?
You need litterally anything that proves that you are a US citizen. Whether it be a school ID, social security card, anything. You need atleast 2 documents. If you do not have these you can bring any one of the persons that are on your birth certificate (mother or father), or bring their documents along with yours.
