My mom past away 8 months ago 2/12/21. I was told the cause of death would take 3 to 6 months, it's past that and still not completed? On her death certificate they put the wrong hospital also I was told they were going to do an autopsy at the hospital but her death certificate shows none? I'm so frustrated and they seem to not care. It's been 8 months they didn't even do an autopsy so why is it taking so long for us to get some closure?

Records less than a year old are on their website. Anything else you'd need to contact the coroner or county records
Eugenia Ann Richardson
The funeral home with which you arranged your family members care will have that information. You can try and give the County coroner's office a call, they will be able to tell you more.
I'm not sure exactly most of the is waiting for lab work to come back sorry for your lose
Go to http://www.coroner.saccounty.net/Pages/default.aspx All the information you need should be there, sorry for your loss, my condolences. I hope you can find comfort in friends, family, and/or a higher power.
You won't find that answer here. Google the Sacramento county coroner website they have names of all open cases there. They won't post it until the next of kin has been notified.
$400. Check has to be written from a funeral home no personal checks allowed unless prior arrangements are made.
There should not be a release fee because she is under 18
Look on the Sacramento county coroner website. Any available information will be listed there. Also try contacting their office Monday through fri and they'll give you info. No ID will be released until the legal Next of Kin has been notified.
Only the legal next of kin can order certified copies of the DC, regardless of the cause of death. Anyone else can order informational copies but they're not the same as the certified ones and aren't a legal document so they can't be used to settle the estate.
The coroner does not sign the dc but will charge for the report
No. An autopsy will ONLY be performed if there are suspicious circumstances and the body is an actual Coroner case. Other than that you have to pay for it.
No
