Jury duty serves nobody any purpose. There should honestly be a separate occupation that allows people to apply for and become a juror. It is not economically feasible to force members of the general public to serve on a trial or make themselves available against their will to appear. They claim it’s our civic duty to participate but it honestly feels like modern day slavery by threatening people to appear or face fines and/or imprisonment. You could easily interview and hire unbiased people to be jurors as a paid career rather than interrupting other people’s daily lives to sit in on a useless case.

I am offended . I was asked to do jury duty. I requested a different date. They responded that I no longer have to do jury duty due to my age. I did not request to be removed. I have never served JD. It is my duty to serve. I have a MA degree in Communication and am a critical thinker. I believe I would be an asset to a jury.

I Just called them to get information about the jury duty because I am not a US citizen and the lady picked up the phone she start arguing with me without helping or explaining.

Typically they are issued every 18 months, if you have moved or changed addresses or counties, you may not get one and would need to reregister to vote or ensure your mailing address with DMV is up to date.
In approx two months as per the sign in the jury duty waiting room at the court house. However, you may request a postponement for up to 90 days on the website.

You only are paid when you serve more than one day. Then talk to the person working where you signed in

There is no age limit. There are other reasons which may work if you qualify and provide documentation.
