Spoke with the park staff - there's a dam downriver that now prevents the manatees from moving into rainbow springs 😕
Three Rivers is the best place to see them
No manatees there. Try three sisters in crystal river. You can kayak from hunter spring park or take a trolley to the three sisters boardwalk from crystal river city hall. Rainbow does have a lot of fish though

No but the water is freaking cold and clear.
No manatees but the water is crystal clear so you can see every fish in it.
I didn't see anything mentioning the presence of manatees.
Not my first choice to see manatees. So much more things to see.
