Yes Jill you can fish however, this is a conservation area so practice catch and release, don't use live bait and use barbless hooks.

You cannot fish anywhere inside the park. The water is divided into two swim areas, one large and one children swim area, then there is the boat dock where you rent kayaks or canoes. Once you get on the river if you rent a boat there are some areas you may fish depending on how far you go but a lot of the river is for conservation purposes. You may freely fish with a license at the Dunnellon boat ramp downtown.

No, there is not. The fishing pier was destroyed when a tree fell on it a year ago and has not been repaired.
