I didn't see any alligators but warnings are posted. Personally, I don't believe in the notion there is too many people present which deters alligators. I will always be a spectator when it comes to swimming at Rainbow Springs.
Its very safe to swim. The swim area has too many people for gators to be a problem
The water in the springs is cold and they dont like that. There where fake cascades and ponds in the park that where emptied. I supose that was more suitable for them with warm water
🧠 BRAIN EATING AMOEBAS THAT'S MORE SCARY THAN ALLIGATORS🐊🐊🐊!!
Yes, there are gators. They don't like people. Unless you purposely molested one, like stepped on it, or tried to lure it close with food, it will swim away from you. You are safe to be in the water.
There could be gators anywhere but it's pretty unlikely to see one that wants anything to do with you.
