The idea of limiting float devices is do to state not expanding swim area..more money invested in Springs would make this place a more enjoyable place for locals and tourist's.
The springs are an aquatic preserve. There is a designated swim area with a swim dock you can jump off of. It is deep so if you need a floating device only pool noodles and life jackets are allowed. No inflatable floats are allowed.
