To become a provider you will need to first go to our Aging & Adult Services website and from the left navigation bar, click on the "IHSS Provider Orientation" link. From there you will be given instructions on exactly what you need to do to become a paid IHSS provider. If you need help with this process, you can contact the Kern County Public Authority at 661-868-0987 or come into the office located at 5357 Truxtun Ave. Bakersfield, CA 93309.
On truxtun avenue that's where you get the paperwork and go to orientation I hope this helps you.
