I was in the battered womens shelter there in 1999 and the staff saved my life. I will never forget Norma, Sarita and Jan. My life is great and prosperous now and I owe the start of my recovery to them and other staff members. Thank you All

Amazing ace to go to when your in need of legal and anyone to be there for you guiding you to the legal steps for a restraining order, to protect yourself and your children from a toxic relationship, help with your children just anything when as a parent, not only for woman but for a man as well. A man or a woman can be toxic and abusive. It's a choice of a person itself

I do not work there but as of what I do know, they are open to the public, they are absolutely amazing, specially Marvin Luna and Illene Parra, they are my Angels. So you go down to the one on Oak Street, they will ask you to wait outside and fill your paperwork, they will then take you in to speak one on one to an advocate. Hope this helps

I would call and ask, but its not actually a shelter. They may have resources to give you so you may donate your items to an actual shelter
They do offer a women shelter for someone who has been in domestic violence so you can call the alliance and they can help you
Yes. Go to Alliance which currently has shelters available or contact the Family Justice Center or the Department of Human Service which have resources to assist domestic violence victims.

Be safe at all times
No it can be any type of abuse.
It actually applies to men, women and children who have suffered any type of violence or abuse.
You can also go to the human services and they can take you and start the process.
They offer counseling and a women's shelter and many other resources that would be helpful to women
