The inept are running the program.. Staff is the worst!!! They are stuck in the dark days of Covid not letting the individuals use the computers or the music room or the library. There are these cool items called disinfectant wipes that can be utilized to wipe down computers and such, but instead they have gotten lazy. They are stuck in the same room most of the day only coming out for lunch and to use the bathroom. I wonder why my son had an incident?? Boredom? Being asked to cut and paste like he was in the 4th grade?? No stimulation of his mind just the drone of a stupid tv playing zaboomafoo?? I tried to call a few times in the afternoon and for hours it went straight to voicemail. I couldn’t see how my son was doing, I couldn’t see if he was having issues and talk to anyone cause no one would pick up the phone. So I drove over there and before I walked in I called..I walk in and there is this guy at the front desk playing on his phone while the sites phone is going to voicemail..Seriously!!

Hands down the best Day Program for Special Needs Adults in Bakersfield. All of the staff are caring and engaged with the client ts at all times. CEO Michael Shain has done an amazing and unbelievable job keeping all of the clients busy and connected with each other and staff by creating a Zoom class schedule that is fulfilling and enriching. Thank you!
