You can go the first time they will help you after time that you go you will fill out an application when you're approved they will help you for 6 months and you will go the second Saturday of the month and the 4th Saturday of the month from 9 to 12 so you can go on on either one of those Saturdays and they'll help you the first time you if you don't have an ID then the first time they'll let you slide but the rest of time once you're approved they will call you and let you know if you are approved but you can only have 3 pets and they will ask you their names so you got to give him their names when you apply again after 6 months you apply every January so however you're 6 months are when they do ask you again to go and apply or you just go they'll tell you when to go in the play you will have to give the same names you cannot give more names you can only have 3 pets I mean if you have five pets that's okay but they will only give you for 3 but they give

Remember we are open the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 10-12. We wouldn't want you to make a trip and find us closed. We are all volunteers, thus the limited hours.

Bakersfield pet food pantry is the only one I am aware of, and they are still in business.

Not sure but they are very helpful according to their guide lines they will assist with up to 3 animals if you are already signed up you can't add animals

Though it is admirable that you are looking to license your pet, which is a responsible thing to do, I don't know of any programs that defray the cost. If your animal is neutered/spayed, depending on the sex, then the cost of the license is much, much, lower. If you need information on Low Cost Spay Neuter, let us know and we can provide you with information.
