They are greedy people, as a delivery driver for many years, I have seen there tow truck driver hide and prey on you regardless any reason. Why? because once they send their driver out, they have to pay them. If the driver don't get anything back, it will be a business loss.

We only enforce the rules the community has set in place. If a mistake is made on Dominion's part, as with any job there can be errors, rest assured we do take responsibility for it.

The drivers can open the doors to the vehicles if it's necessary for towing (ie. Emergency brake is on, the vehicle doesn't have locked steering so the steering needs to be manually locked, etc.)

What do you mean "pay the property manager"? Some communities will charge for parking and some may have it included in your rent/HOA dues - we have no control over that. Dominion Towing doesn't pay property management so that wouldn't relate to us, either. If you mean how much do you pay to retrieve a vehicle that's been impounded, that will vary based on when your vehicle was towed and the GVWR rating of the vehicle. On average for a "regular" sized passenger vehicle you will pay anywhere between $135 and $185 within the first 24 hours. After that, storage will increase daily and there will be an admin fee on the third day. The rates listed by a previous poster are incorrect.

Every situation is different so this is a difficult one to answer properly. If WE have made an error that makes the tow invalid we will release the vehicle free of charge to the customer. We don't generally bring them back as we have to show who the vehicle was released to by law and often times it will take significantly longer for us to tow the vehicle back than it does for someone to pick it up. Also, people often disagree with the towing of their vehicle and believe it to be invalid as no one likes being towed. The above only applies if DOMINION made the mistake, not if someone disagrees with the tow or if the property had an error.
