They do have point of sale system. Some rarer items might get dropped shipped from another distributor but their warehouse is huge. They mostly have everthing in stock.
The answer to your question is simple sometimes items are in stock but they're not correctly put into location on record so the item maybe on stock but it's just not in the right place
