The doctors are really nice but the front office staff and lab is very unorganized. I had an appointment in early July. My glasses came in more than three weeks later. They didn’t feel right so I had a prescription recheck. After this I requested they were rush ordered as I really needed my glasses and/or contacts. However their rush order again is more then three weeks (and still waiting). This is a medical device. Seems like they don’t care about correcting a patient’s vision if it takes this long. Mind you, they didn’t warn me of the time before I paid in full. I have been a loyal customer for 5 yrs but won’t be coming back after this year. If anyone knows the phone number of the lab or manager please let me know, id like to explain my situation more.

Staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the doctor as well. Just a bit on the slow side. If you enjoy good service it's worth the wait. But if you're in a hurry this isn't the place to go.

I went with an appointment May 2022. I had a very pleasant experience years ago so I went back this year. The optometrist is in my top 5. He is excellent, caring, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. I've been getting contacts for almost 20 years with different optometrists (Most of them in LA & Texas). If you have time to wait, the doctor is GREAT. If you have limited time, please read my experience: (edited to add as much detail as possible) I told the receptionist that I came back to this office after a 2 hour wait with an appointment at Costco two years ago. I told her this upfront. Receptionist cannot control how visits go, but they do have a rough estimate of waiting times. If I was informed, I was going to wait a long time, I would have reschedule for another day. I waited one hour and 15 minutes with an appointment and still wasn't seen by the optometrist. I couldn't wait an extra 15 minutes for the actual exam and go over prices for my contacts. I walked out and didn't inform them because the receptionist wasn't in her desk as she also was busy helping other patients. When I was canceling via telephone, I was informed by the receptionist that "because I needed an exam, the visit takes longer than one hour." I have worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years. The only reason why patients wait longer times is because over booking. Communication is key in any healthcare setting. If I'm informed out front that visits are running a little late or if I am giving an estimate time, I appreciate it, especially when I am bringing my little one. If I was single, I can wait all day, but my time is limited as a mother. If you are a parent and have to take your little ones, my suggestion is maybe schedule the earliest appointment available to be the first in line. Or bring smacks, a tablet, or anything to entertain the little ones. Make all the arrangements necessary to wait up to one hour and 30 minutes. Would I re schedule? No. There are many other choices out there. *** Update: the doctor called and texted apologizing for the long wait. I reiterate the doctor is great!!!

It depends on your prescription. I paid 125 for monthly contacts. Varies by brand. Also factor in a "contact fitting fee "around $60 which includes a trial pair.
