I put down my first pre-emergent treatment at the end of march and will do my second end of may beginning june. Can i spray a ortho safe for lawn but kills weeds spray while useing pre-emergent to get the weeds that are up now?

I would. And plan too. Do a spot spray...kill'em and get a jump on them. They get the weed and feed down when recommended, you'll be good.
