I will never go here again. 6 hours in the er. They told me I lost my baby all my tests were negative and left me in the room alone for an hour crying before I finally decided to leave THEN they tell me they were wrong and all my test were positive and wanted to run more blood work to see how far along I was. I left never in my life have I been so angry

This would be a 0 if possible. The care people receive here is unreal. The hospital does not provide proper education to there staff for life saving measures. I have had a number of friends in life threatening situations caused by this facility on more than one occasion. When I came to the ER personally with a broken leg in 3 places, I had to ask the nurse to x-ray my leg who then told me she wanted to hurry up and discharge me because once she did she gets to go home. Where she proceeded to be rude to me because I had then asked her to please x ray my leg. I am a nurse myself and the care here is unbelievable. If at all possible avoid this hospital.

What once was a decent hospital has now gone to H E double hockey sticks. They give bad information to patients and then inaccurate information to patients’ family. Told us results would be back in two days, then changed it to 5 days, then said not sure when the results would be back. Then asked us to come back in and get admitted. We went there and the waiting room with a overflowing and after speaking with other waiting patients, they had been there for almost 3 hours. So, we left and got to another hospital not far away and admitted in less that and hour, door to door. You know it’s bad when two nurses that asked for anonymity said they would not recommend Olathe Medical to their friends or family. That says it all for me. I hope they figure it out because it was a good hospital back in the day. Heard the change in management and ownership may be effecting the quality of care and staff are leaving faster than they can hire.

Only giving one star because it won't let you give any lower. Go somewhere else, we had a much better experience at Overland Park regional. The service and attention of the nursing and medical staff has been good, but trying to get anything done with their administrative staff is like trying to push water uphill with a rake. Whether it's trying to get a charge they said they'd clear actually removed, or anything with the billing department at all, we've spent countless hours on the phone and writing emails trying to get problems resolved, only to have them not call us back, or not pass the message along to the person who could actually help us. This also includes telling us they'd call us back to set up an appointment multiple times, and not doing it. Over 4 months of spinning our wheels on some very simple administrative issues.
