I had a great facial here about 6 months ago, but when I returned yesterday it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Like other people have mentioned, my esthetician kept leaving the room (once when very hot steam was blowing on my face) for extended periods of time. She was probably out of the room for 30-40 (maybe more) minutes of the hour I was there. Maybe it was because I didn’t want to add the $90 worth of extra services she recommended? Maybe she had another (or two) client? didn’t complain at checkout because it was very chaotic but I wish I had. I sent an email afterward and I’m hoping to get a response soon. I’ve been getting facials for 30 years and have never been so disappointed!

I have been coming to this salon since 2019 once a month to help keep up with my skin routine. Shirley has helped me improve my skin beyond imaginable. She is so sweet and makes me feel so comfortable. She tells me exactly what products to use and always follows up the next time I am in. I have traveled from Brooklyn each month and now I will continue to travel from NJ. I love this salon and especially my esthetician Shirley!

Not what I would expect from MB spa. My appointment was at 5 pm but my treatment didn’t start until 5:25. My aesthetician also left several times during the facial. The treatment started off great but after the first 7 Minutes it all went downhill. It felt like she had another client she was going back and forth to. Her technic was rough and harsh. It was as if a 2 year old was putting a mask on. I was very disappointed with this experience. I’m pregnant and was looking forward to an experience where I could relax and enjoy myself before the baby comes and this only left me more frustrated. I’ve had 100s of facials and this was probably the worst one. The only reason for 2 stars is because they had a recliner which could accommodate a pregnant woman.
