Why do they turn off the electric when there is a fire in idlewild? That's a 45 to an hr away.? Do you pay for spoilage or can't you let us know so we can prepare.

They do not pay for spoilage. They gave as much warning as they could. We receive power through Edison and the poles that were lost were in Mountain Center.. which is close to the Lake Hemet area..only 20 minutes away
