SDG&E's gas and electric service has been very reliable compared to some others (so far), but their phone support is inadequate and often frustrating. Their biggest failure is this: California is going to need a lot more electrical power in the future and what is SDG&E doing right now to increase generating capacity? Nothing.

Someone knocked down a pole in front of our house and the power has been out for over 12 hours. The road was closed all night, so no way to buy ice. Now I have a fridge full of spoiled food, and of course SDGE is "not responsible". Why would they be? I only pay them $200 a month. I should just get over myself.
