Do not be misled by the name. This company uses 49% renewables, which is 10% more than PG&E. They do not disclose where the 51% come from. Likely gas and coal. They have formed an entire company and bureaucracy with fancy green language and at the end of the day they deliver 10% more renewables that good old PG&E. I give 2 stars for creative writing and fancy language.

I received a letter for a $1,000.00 off electric bike yesterday, I tried to apply on line for hours. Called today to find out they are no longer accepting applications. WHY WAS I SENT THE LETTER AFTER THE DEADLINE! DISAPPOINTED!!

I'm having to call them again. The first time was not a pleasent experience. I couldn't get a stright answer. I've been reading up to find the BBB has given them, Sonoma Clean Power a rating of C. Then I see so many positive reviews. PGE is not helping. But the customer service I received was really bad. Rude, disrespectful. I'm torn on what to do next.

Questions & Answers

Is there a program to help seniors get solar power

A Google User | Sep 12, 2019
Sonoma Clean Power | Sep 12, 2019

Thank you for your question. Sonoma Clean Power does not offer any incentives for installing solar. However, if you are interested in learning more about your solar options, we do partner with Solar Sonoma County which is a free service that will help guide you in determining if solar is right for your residence or business. SSC will help to set up 3 free competitive solar bids from a Qualified Vendor List. Once bids are obtained you can go through the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program (SCEIP) to help walk you through each. SCEIP also has information on financing options, incentives, and project planning. We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

How do I opt out?

Sonoma Clean Power | Sep 12, 2019

Hi Jill, Thank you for reaching out to Sonoma Clean Power. We apologize for the late response. We cannot see when you submitted this question, but here are the two ways that you can opt out if you have not already: you can opt out of Sonoma Clean Power's service by visiting https://sonomacleanpower.org/opt-out or by calling our local Contact Center at 1 (855) 202-2139. Please have your PG&E bill handy for account verification. Just so you are aware, Sonoma Clean Power's charges are not an additional charge. If you opt out of our service, you will begin receiving electric generation services from PG&E. Please let us know if you have any other questions, and again, we apologize for the delay in seeing your message.

What about Tesla?

Hi Doris, Are asking if Tesla is participating in our DriveEV program? This link will take you to the participating dealers and incentives. https://bit.ly/2PvgZsu

Can you tell me about your ‘green car program ‘? I had printed info on it but sadly - I misplaced it. I believe the program gives a 4 thou rebate on a new green car and a two thou rebate on a used car. It is for a short time at specific dealers.

Hi Karen, Thanks for your questions about our DriveEv program. There are many ways you can take advantage of this program and there are several incentives available. The program will end on November 8th. Please visit this site for a list of dealers and more info. https://sonomacleanpower.org/programs/drive-ev
