All of the dogs in our care are listed on our website at www.broward.org/animal. If you see your pet, then you need to come in and make a positive ID. We are located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale.
I hope he really took it to a place and not just let him out on the streets.
Call the pounds, in and found you area. The Broward County Animal Care and see what they say as well. Beat of luck, #HateSpiteful they are no good :-)
Did he have a rabies tag or microchip? If so you can call 311 if you are in Broward County and they can look up his status. If he doesnt have either you will need to go to shelter in person. If he turned him in as an owner surrender he can be killed immediately. If he turned him in as a stray he might still be on a stray hold. Also be sure to check at Broward Humane on Griffin Road cuz he could have turned him in there too.
Call the shelter...
