Often, the medical profession suggests that a chemo patient does not interact with animals as the patient's immune system is compromised. Please get permission from your doctor before pursuing adoption of an dog.

We re sorry to hear about your daughter. Once you receive permission from the doctor, you are welcome to come to our Adoption Center to see what dogs are available. We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11AM to 6PM. You can also look at our website, at www.broward.org/animal to see a list of our available pets. We hope to see you soon!

if you don't speak Spanish I can translate. Just let me know. Sofía I was there a few days ago donating the things that I had left from my puppy that went to heaven. Honestly most of the puppies I saw there have some pitbul in their blood. I don't know if it would be a good choice for your daughter.
