I have had my trailer there multiple times and they never seem to fix warranty issues properly. They don't have the proper Personnel working in the service department that really is a qualified tech except one kid Jimmy that does a great job. They have turned over more people there in the past few years then I have ever seen. If you're looking for skilled service performed you may want to try elsewhere . I have been frustrated on numerous occasions and will be finished with them as soon as they complete my warranty work with the trailer I purchased from them.
Still have no idea what's going on with our brand new never been used camper. Dropped it off in May and no parts have even been ordered. How many brand new campers need to be bought from them and returned shortly after with issues before Camping World corporate actually does something?
If your unhappy try New England RV in Brocktonon Terminal Si
I had asked Valerie in service if Camper's World does warranty work for Fleetwood. She checked with someone else and I made an appointment at 11:00am the following week. When I arrived another woman told me they probably couldn't do warranty work because they are not a certified Fleetwood dealer. After checking with another person in the shop she said they could with just a little extra paperwork. After the RV was checked for the warranty problems Valerie told me the it couldn't be taken care of by them. After I spoke to Dave some kind of a manger he told me he wouldn't be comfortable with his men fixing the problem. I told Dave I had double checked with Valerie on the phone to be sure they would do the specific warranty work I had gone over with her. In the end they wouldn't/couldn't do it and I took a day off for nothing. They have no sense whatsoever about service. I'm going elsewhere to have it repaired and I'll pay for it myself. Complete boneheads.
Had a new tow bar installed on my brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee monday October 21st. When I picked it up Tuesday the front grill of my new car was totaly hacked up the tow hitched was installed crooked and the break buddy break away cord was left lying on the floor on the passenger side of the console when the break buddy is on the drivers side. When I bought it to there attention they all seemed to not be concerned and sent the service teck who did the work out to me instead of having the manager come out to look at the hack work that was performed on my car. I have to order a new grill and have someone else properly install the plugs and reinstall the base plate. I wouldn't have the change a light bub for me at this point. If you need work done do yourself a huge favor and call someone else.
Mr fix, i have you down on my list for morning meeting at 830am today. Your concerns will be addressed. Its unfortunate but it is peak season. We have 400 open work orders. Weve been turning new purchase customers away because its not fair to take more units in at this point. We can only go in the order the work orders came in. Yes we had some bad management and careless employees but i like to think we just about have all the right people and got rid of almost every careless employee to turn it around. Im truly sorry for the inconveniences. Alot of times inexperienced advisors will give unrealistic expectations on time lines. If that happened, I'm also very sorry about that. Someone will call you today, whether it be myself, Victoria or Peter your advisor.
Because the service department is just abysmal. Most of the people working in service do not pay any attention to detail. They do not finish a repair job correctly or in full. I cannot stress enough how bad it is. They have ONE wonderful service employee who actually showed us all the features in our new camper during the walk-thru when picking it up. His name is Al and he is the only good one there! Al is too good for this place!
Bought in July. Have had two issues and have been wonderful. Gerry the Service Manager has been more than accommodating.
What brand and model campers are you guys having bad luck with
