There is a stray dog on my block he has been here for weeks. But, now he is stuck in this nasty weather how can I help him?But I can not take him in he still needs to be safe though.

Jose deJesus, agreed. It would be cruel to leave any dog out there in this weather. Linda, you should call your police precinct to arrange pickup.

Try calling Last Chance Animal Rescue they will help out. Please don't send him to the hell hole (CACC) on Linden they'll give about 3 days for over to show up and then if not deemed fit for adoption orjust doesn't get adopted he'll be killed.

You can call the animal shelter or if the dog is not a danger to you try to get it to a warm place
