You should do the following: (1) bath your dog, thry recommend not bathing your pet for 2 weeks after the procedure. (2) buy a large soft cone. You will get a plastic elizabethian cone. It is not always comfortable. (3) Do not feed your dog after midnight. Your dog might choke while on anesthesia.
