You have to get clearance to visit. You have to fill out a paper and seems a copy of your id. They are available on line and at the jail. Call the jail. They will tell you. You also have to be on thelist of people the inmate will allow to visit them or you won't be allowed in.

Rosemary the inmate has to ask the case worker to update their visitor information so they can approve it

To add to what Helen said, call the jail, check out the website, make sure All forms are filled out properly, have the inmate add you to their visitors list, pay close attention to the dress code. Even if you do everything else properly, if you don't follow the guidelines regarding proper dress, you will be denied visit. Never have an attitude with any of the officers!
