Toro can take a beating from what I've heard. do some research
ariens make has a long tradition of making good machines. but as technology changes toward ion lithium battery operated.machines i would look into machines like snow joe that advertises light weight battery operated snow throwers and snow blowers. there are others so i can not say it is the best but it looks promising.
