Extremely bad attitude I called up to get a price on getting a tire switched over on a rim no tubes involved simple easy job I just don’t have the equipment they want $20 apiece that’s basically what a car tire cost to do these are just lawnmower tires I explain to him that Walmart did them for $10 apiece but I didn’t wanna wait for Walmart to do something like that he says why don’t you take it over there then. Bad attitude will not be going back.

I pulled my snowblower out on Wednesday because the first snow of the season is expected on Friday. I broke the start cord trying to get it running and I knew from past experience that the “sudden” power equipment shop in South Windsor would take weeks, if not longer before they could find the time to work on my machine.. I called this place based on a recommendation I saw on Facebook. Steve said he’d try to get it done before the snow on Friday. I was skeptical, but today’s Thursday and I have my machine back in my garage the night before the storm gets here! I brought this guy a dirty, broken, Ariens snowblower that hadn't been serviced in 3 yrs. He went through the whole machine, top to bottom… spark plugs, oil change, replaced the broken gas cap, cleaned the carburetor, the fuel tank, repaired the reverse gear, and tightened all the belts / cables. AND… it was 10% cheaper than the place in South Windsor charges me.

Terrible place to perform any service. Requested to fix my relatively new Toro snowblower for belt issue as it got snapped. Tried to replace it myself same issue happened.again so specifically asked Steve to check and fix , based on all the great reviews, guess what he just put the new belt and told.me it's fixed. When the ran the machine with no load to warm up to clean the 6" snow the paddle stopped working in min as the brand new belt got snapped again as Steve didn't care to fix the actual problem. Ended up manually shovelling snow for 4 hrs as Steve never bothered to respond. Worst place and don't fall prey for cool website as service quality sucks.

there may be on the web or a dealer may have info. i don't think that steve could help with. only steve knows for steve
only steve knows but i suspect he is very busy as he fixes equipment he may or may not because his a one person shop if he is out delivering repaired equipment he might stop by.
only steve knows but because of noise restrictions around the shop he can not test his work. steve is a good all around mechanic and does not have time to do chainsaw work. because i only dabble with operating chainsaws. i respectfully suggest to go to a shop that specializes in chainsaws or possibly a dealer that sells your brand of chainsaw. the reason is that dealers of new chainsaws are required by franchise agreement to be able to fix their equipment especially repairs under warranty.and the dealer is required to repair using parts approved by corporate. more costly to you unfortunately. .
Check spark compression and if it’s getting fuel
only steve knows if he can since it is a craftsman named product it might be a do -it-yourself project. if you are not a diy type person. see if you have a diy person in your neighborhood. ask kindly for help on the project. ps because of environmental concerns leave the clippings to be composted in place.it is environmentally friendly and the clippings fertilize the lawn. your choice. its your yard.
