Im not 100% sure about that. What I would suggest is calling and asking and if they say it has to not expired I would go to Join Monday morning and ask for a voucher for a new ID. You may want to find out if you need anything for that. I think a Birth Certificate and your expired Id would work but again not 100% sure. Van Buren may allow you time to get it though and help you with the resources if you have no other housing options. I dont think they would turn you away completely over something so small. Good Luck!
Gentrification is heavy here in Columbus Ohio I will suggest that most people visiting the shelter we'll go over to the land bank of Columbus Ohio and spin the three or four thousand dollars it takes to get a home buying a home from the land bank will guarantee that you will never be homeless again I believe I'm renting is a bad option for anyone but a lot of people does do not know about the land bank it is located on Parsons Avenue next to the library I recommend visiting the land bank of Columbus Ohio and purchasing a home for $4,000
