I had a real hard patch in life. This place kept me alive. Without the resource they provided with the free meals I surely wouldn't be here today to write this. Thank you. Every one of you.

A great bunch of hard working individuals working for people in need

Staff talks to you like you're a child. They yell at you and blame you for things someone else has done. The pipes in the restroom needs work and leaves the area and hallway funky! Case managers don't really do their jobs. One in particular sucks at communicating. Things get stolen, and arguments and fights occur. Staff takes their own issues out on the residents.

I am currently a resident and am very lucky to be in such a clean, well organized shelter which separates male and female so it's a more comfortable situation. Meals are diverse, filling, and taste pretty good. The rules are completely easy to follow, and the staff is nothing short of absolutely wonderful! If you find yourself homeless god forbid, please seek out these shelters, you won't regret it!

No we do not.
There is no more beds. Nancy's place is closed
Call 211 and tell them your request. May take time on hold.
No it's separate.. Think van buren on west side take men and women but not together.. At least you'll be in same place.. Good luck
Only if you are returning after your first arriving and coming back the next day.
Kinda. You get a footlocker. You need a lock.
Yes.
Yes it is.
Go up or call them and they will explain the proper channels to go through. I do believe you need to be a resident of theirs. There is the free stores in Columbus that can help as well. One out west, one on parsons, and one at the big church at 5th and high.
Yes by all means bring it it would be deeply appreciated by all the people here. Thank you, and have a Merry Christmas
Call 211, they can give you the info you need, but to answer your question: you generally have to call earlier that day amd put your name on the list. After they do bed counts, around 8 I believe, then you call and see if they have a bed available. It is cold so they might be doing overflow. Of that's the case you'll just get a mat on the floor in a big room until a bed opens. Hope this helps.
Call them. I never seen volunteers except in the chow hall. Different groups churches organizations come in and serve the food as volunteers.
Call and put your name on the list or call star house for people your age
They have a lot of solutions, but they probably don't have access to this new question section on Google. It's for Local Guide Community. Hopefully, they're open tomorrow. Just call them and ask.
There is a waiting list. You have to call get on list and then call everyday twice a day till they get to you. Sometimes it goes fast.
