Yes, there are two pools. One has a slide and the other one has a lazy river. Who needs a water park when you have this place!
The sand area is cool. It has games and ping-pong. This is one of my favourite places to stay in Orlando. Be prepared to visit Volcano Bay if you have kids. The temptation is too great
Yes, there is an area that is all sand. There are lounge chairs in this area too. Pool is nice. Pool is just under 4ft deep. So, its nice for wading and relaxing.

There's absolutely a beach like setting with Cabanas that you can reserved I don't know how much they cost though. Each of the pools has its own little food and drink nearby
