No you can not. The microchip doesn't track the owner or pet per say. The purpose of microchip is that if your pet was to go missing and someone found him/her they would be axle to be returned to you much quicker. It's like a permanent name tag.
GPS trackers need to be powered up / charged . And far as microchip it is a .(RFID - Radio Frequency Identification) which owner Register And if Pet gets Lost and found and scanned they will call you. To come get them ... Any and most Maryland Shelters Care Facilities County & City ,Will Microchip & Spay and Neuter all cats and dogs . That comes to them . Not an Option to Opt Out. * However you can Opt out on registering the microchip owners Choice I Hope this Helps
The microchip does not have GPS tracking capability. It is only design to be able to be scanned if a pet is found, so they can contact the owners. If it is not scanned directly from the pet it is not used, thus it will not affect you/anyone GPS wise.
