If you are trying they will help just do not expect a handout! A hand up? Yes! A handout past food you're on your own! Funding has recently dried up! Also if you can not work the program you can not stay! If you have kids and can provide and be supportive then yes! They will help! If not again you are on your own!
Ms Grier, I'm sorry that you think that. I'm not sure where you got your information but the facts are that we are not part of the Catholic Church or any other church. We are a faith-based organization that brings people of all faiths together to serve their fellow citizens in need. We actually provide grocery assistance to over 400 households every week, we provide housing to 10 handicapped individuals who were previously homeless, we have sheltered over 100 people in our shelter this year so far and the majority have stayed with us for over 2 months and have transitioned out to permanent housing. We have also purchased medication for over 300 people. These are people who don't have insurance and can't afford their prescribed medications. Our entire existence is for the purpose of helping people free of charge.
