Nice place to catch trains for a railfan. Wish they would do some night lighting. Many railfans would come with some seating and upgrades.

The amtrak in ocala as well as wildwood only do shipping. If you need to catch a train you will need to bus to Orlando or Jacksonville.
There are no trains out of or into ocala. You have to bus to Jax or Orlando/Sanford
Neither. The station is now an artist colony.
Closest Amtrak stations are Palatka or DeLand. Looks like you would take the train to Washington DC, then change trains to get to Chicago, then change again to get to Michigan.
Yes but not from this station
I just know that from ocala to Georgia is 57 dollars one way it was 114 total round trip
No. Closest to Gainesville is probably Palatka.
Yes on the silver line . The ticket includes a bus to lake city then the amtrac to west palm.
Hi Tammy, you can go on the AMTRAK website and find that out. There's also an auto train from Sanford. If you are North of Orlando you can also connect with AMTRAK in the Villages, Ocala, Gainesville and other North Central Florida communities via Amtrak's Thruway service to Jacksonville if heading North or to Lakeland if heading South.
I dont think it 1 personally in ocala fl now i do know they had a train restaurant that rode thru lake county like mount dora an eustis but its been awhile i currently stay an South Carolina but there nothing wrong with trying
You need to go to amtrak.com I think that's thier website. An fyi this station is a bus station. You take thier bus to the train station my friend went to south Carolina and caught the train in jax. But was on a bus from here to there.
Hi Tina, Amtrak only has connecting bus service called Thru way from Ocala south to Lakeland or North to Jacksonville. No train. If you need auto training. Service must go to Samford, FL, or if you need to haul a truck contact a freight company or car moving company.
None
