Dr. Shenker is a great guy. He's very nice and so is his staff. I have been going there for years and I trust the staff. I went to get new lenses put in my glasses and they fixed my glasses to fit my face better without me even asking them to. I put them on and found out after I realized they fit better. I appreciate little things like that. That's what makes it feel like a hometown business rather than a big box store business. I always recommends him to people looking to get an eye exam. Thanks Dr. Shenker and staff!!

Going to Walmart vision Center saved me $120 on my contact lens exam. The doctor was very competent and even suggested monovision contact lenses for me so I can get rid of my reading glasses. I was very impressed. I called several Eye doctors in Ocala and they all wanted to charge $99 for the exam and $150 for a contact lens fitting fee which seems ridiculous to me. I would rather spend that money purchasing new contact lenses. I’ve been wearing contact lenses for 43 years And I don’t understand the concept of a “fitting fee”.
