My own advice is to show up at 7.55 am in the shelter before they open. They started doing check-in around 8.30am but if you came first PROBABLY you'll get the bed. Sometimes it happened on my work practice)
It goes pretty fast you just have to call in every day from 8 to 1 to check in once you get on the list
