This depends, of course, on what kind of experience you're looking for, as a single. With the option to stay in hostel-style rooms, and multiple bars, it is, in my opinion a good option for singles, whether you're looking to mingle or not. Co-ed hostel rooms and the rooftop bar could provide great opportunities to meet people. On the other hand, if your days are busy, you will hardly notice the others in your room, and enjoy the benefit of not paying more for a room that is excessive in size and amenities for a single traveler.
It's great for those single AND couples as well as groups. The question would be whether you wanted privacy or shared spaces for budget consciousness or to mingle with others since there are dormitory style rooms or private rooms
It is dependent on what kind of room you choose as well as the intended spending
