NEVER pay with a debit card!!! It is an open access to your bank account
My personal mind for safe online purchases ,for windows pc have installed an updated internet security suite.(Bitdefender ,Kaspersky etc...) which have a separated browser for protection from keyloggers . And I 'd recommend to use a prepaid banking card. Nothing in this world is free...yes,,it's safe to pay online with PayPal,,but to pay directly with card in your hand ,,I would pay with another card,,,like a debit card..
Is it safe to pay with PayPal? I have had good and bad experience with PayPal and good. It depends if your account is clean or hacked. Currently my bank account is attached to PayPal and paypal account closed and they will not release my account and i feel someone or even PayPal is using it for the benefit of themselves to profit from my business today. They send emails claiming my account is open when it is not and purchases have showed up on my bank account where I didn't use PayPal and when I contact them online they don't stand good for the purchase. Then i had events where they did then they didn't then they did then the account is closed but the next email says it is open then it's not. I I hope this answers your question. It could be safe or it may not be it depends if your account was taken over or being used by internet crooks and if you suspect it. I will contact PayPal and they may or may not do anything about it.
