Why when you can shoot real ammo ?

There's no need to ridicule the guy's question. Airsoft or paintball wargames need to be included in a complete training program. Precision at placing a close group on paper doesn't instill the skills to survive against a target that shoots back at you. (Though it would be a horrible idea to conduct both forms of training in proximity to each other.)

Why would you go to a real shooting range for an airsoft gun? Just 'shoot' in your backyard.

Patrick Wharton (One And Only) | Sep 7, 2018

Just go outside and do airsoft.

No. It’s not a play place for toys (and I’ve heard the arguments against airsoft being a joke, and they are left wanting). Also, since they sell REAL firearms for grown-ups, they’d probably prefer to save the lane space for people who will buy things they sell (real, non-children’s toys, ammo, etc.)

I don't think so. I have never seen anyone. But if you call, they may let you. I mean, what harm could it really do? Lol.
