What is the weather like in Mid August. Planning to get married mid month then go on honey moon. And how much for lodging around the area.

Also consider a good chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Elevations less than 9000 ft usually get to mid 70s in the day but drop to 40s at night

The warning about thunderstorms is an important one. Doesn't always happen but you don't want to be caught in an exposed location if it does. All the best to you! Great place to honeymoon!

In August the lodging won't be cheap as it's high season for visiting. 150+ a night for a nice room is my guess for lodging. Consider airbnb too as sometimes you can have a private room or an entire place for the same price as a nice hotel room.

You can look up the different lodging in the area and get some prices. The weather is great with some afternoon thunderstorms.

I'd agree with Stacey, that seems to be the average there
